What do you mean by spike-free snacking?

Most of the commercial grocery store snacks we’ve known and loved for so many years are unfortunately loaded with sugar, artificial sweeteners, unhealthy fats, and other processed ingredients. These highly processed, starchy snacks tend to spike blood sugar & energy levels. But this kind of energy is used up too quickly—like a newspaper in a campfire—and then you eventually feel the low of crashing blood sugars (foggy-headed, sluggish, or tired).

Other foods (whole-grain carbs like oats or quinoa, legumes, nutrient-dense fruit and vegetables) are like slow-burning logs: they’re a little harder to break down and provide a steadier supply of glucose, and therefore, energy. When you choose foods made with better-for-you ingredients and a proper balance of nutritionals and stay intentional about when & how you eat, you can find that “just-right” level of energy.

That’s spike-free snacking!

Are your cookies diabetes-friendly?

Yes! We worked closely with top R&D innovation teams, endocrinologists & dietitians, as well as individuals diagnosed with diabetes, to create low glycemic snacks that are low in saturated fat and contain the right combination of protein, fiber, net carbs, & sugar.

Are your products gluten-free?

Our cookies are not gluten-free, but we are working on including this option in the future!

What is the recommended serving size?

2 cookies (1 flowpack)

What is allulose & monk fruit?

Allulose & monk fruit are great natural sweeteners that are low in glycemic index but packed with sweetness & flavor. Allulose is derived from dried fruits (figs, raisins, jackfruit) & corn, and monk fruit is a small round fruit containing a great source of fiber.

Why is it important to choose low glycemic snacks?

Choosing snacks and foods with a low glycemic index can help steady our blood sugar levels, which in turn can reduce the risk of developing certain illnesses and health conditions such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease, & metabolic syndrome.
